Our shop is located in a historic
building that was built as a Congregational Church in 1870. The original
and early members came from congregation churches in New England.
Around 1900 the church collapsed when the pastor didn't live up to expectations. The building was then used for community social affairs. In 1935, it was purchased by a local farmer and used for farm storage, including the storing of cabbage in 1944. The building was left empty from 1960 to 1983 when it was purchased by a local contractor for his business. His wife later opened a gift shop in the front of the building. In 1998 space inside that shop was rented to who is now the current owner: Another Time Another Place.
